Muse consultants have extensive experience advising clients on natural gas infrastructure, processing, and transportation projects worldwide. Our work spans technical evaluation, commercial analysis, project development support, and valuation services for both private and public sector stakeholders.


Below are representative assignments demonstrating Muse’s experience across the natural gas value chain.


Alaska Gas Pipeline


Retained by the Alaska Departments of Revenue and Natural Resources to evaluate development proposals for the Alaska Gas Pipeline. The engagement included assessment of alternative development scenarios, analysis of market supply and demand for natural gas liquids, development of gas processing scenarios, and review of proposed commercial structures for gas processing and product sales. Muse also provided pricing forecasts and audited project financial models.


Bolivian Gas Processing and Transmission Systems


Advised the Government of Bolivia during the privatization of state-owned natural gas infrastructure. Services included technical evaluation and valuation of gas gathering systems, gas processing facilities, and gas transmission pipelines. Muse performed income-based and comparable transaction analyses to determine fair market value for the assets.


Natural Gas Processing Facility – Peru


Served as Independent Engineer for the development of a natural gas processing facility near Pucallpa and Aguaytia, Peru. The project included gas and liquids transmission lines, fractionation facilities, and liquids loading infrastructure. Muse reviewed turnkey construction contracts, evaluated design documentation, issued project monitoring reports during construction, and conducted site inspections. The team also provided an independent evaluation of plant performance during final acceptance testing.


Gas Processing Development – Turkmenistan


Conducted a preliminary technical and economic evaluation for the development of a gas processing and liquids recovery facility in Turkmenistan. The study assessed process design, capital cost estimates, and project economics for NGL recovery, fractionation, and condensate stabilization facilities.


Natural Gas Storage Project – California


Provided preliminary engineering analysis and capital cost estimates for a proposed natural gas storage project in California. The engagement included route selection, compression and dehydration system design, pipeline evaluation, and technical support for environmental impact assessments.
