John Renwick

John Renwick is the Executive Vice President and Director of Muse and manages the Asset Performance Practice Area. He has over 30 years of experience in the refining and marketing sector worldwide. John joined Muse in 1999 and has applied his strong technical, operations, and economic understanding of the business in assisting clients in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. His broad range of engagements has included: refinery operations analysis, asset valuations, project evaluations, market studies, and refinery competitive analysis. John is adept in the construction and use of LP models to facilitate complex refinery valuations, project development, operations analysis, and operations planning and execution.

Prior to joining Muse, John worked 14 years for Imperial Oil where he held a variety of positions in their downstream organization in refinery operations, refining and supply economics. His responsibilities, while seconded to Exxon, included supply operations coordination of Exxon facilities worldwide, and corporate planning functions. John holds a B.S. degree in Engineering.
